Healthy Strawberry Jam

Make a delicious and healthy strawberry jam at home with natural ingredients. Perfect for toast, desserts, or as a topping for your favorite snacks!

Ingredients:

  • 500 g fresh strawberries, washed and hulled

  • 3-4 tablespoons honey, maple syrup, or another natural sweetener (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • Optional: 1 teaspoon chia seeds (for thicker texture)

Instructions:

  1. Chop the strawberries into small pieces.

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine strawberries, sweetener, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.

  3. If desired, add chia seeds to help thicken the jam further. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat and let it cool. The jam will thicken more as it cools.

  5. Transfer to a clean jar and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
